Internal Passport of Russia (Паспорт гражданина Российской Федерации), the primary identity document of the citizens of the Russian Federation, can now be more effectively authenticated and processed in online channels where submitted as customer-generated image file. Improvements in the AU10TIX BOS online ID authentication and processing system can now better manage reflections (flash or otherwise) masking printed data and this document’s unique vertically aligned document numbers. BOS can process both V1 and V2 non-MRZ versions and latest V3 MRZ version of the Internal Passport of Russia. Meeting the increasing demand for online authentication of this primary Russian identification document, AU10TIX has developed improved algorithms that increase success rates with all versions of the “Internal Passport of Russia”. Tests have shown these improvements to increase success rates in handling these documents, even at sub optimal quality, up to 82%.
